...I would like to take a cruise (another) and someone told me I could apply for a travel agent license and recieve deep discounts. I need to know
a) can i just apply for a license?
b) how much is it?
c) how to book cruise with a license number.

Also if anyone knows any other way besides the typical expedia; travelocity and such..
Any suggestion would be welcome.I am a past cruiser i know i can get that.

"Theres no quick and dirty way to get a travel agent licence that would get you cheap cruises. CLIA is the trade organization for the cruise industry (http://www.cruising.org/) and they have courses you need to take in order to get their licencing. Most cruise lines won't even give you a discount unless you are bringing a large group or if you sell very large numbers of cruise packages. If there was a quick way to become an agent and get cheap fares, everyone would have done it long ago. Don't fall for the online 'pay us $$$ and you become an instant agent' operations"
